Paris Saint-Germain are working behind the scenes to secure the future of their midfielder Vitinha. This strategic contract extension aims to cement the Portuguese international's influence at the heart of the Parisian project.

Why PSG Are Looking To Extend Vitinha Beyond His Current Deal

Internal talks have reportedly opened to secure the future of Vitinha, according to sports media outlets. Although his current deal runs until June 2029, the Paris Saint-Germain hierarchy is already planning a significant contract extension.

The move reflects the Portuguese international’s growing influence on the pitch. Having finished 3rd in the latest Ballon d’Or, the midfielder has established himself as the ultimate metronome of the team managed by Luis Enrique.

The capital club is also eager to ward off interest from top European giants. According to Paris United, Real Madrid is targeting the midfielder or João Neves for over €125 million. Paris therefore aims to tie down its prized asset without delay.

Contract Details Revealed For Dembélé, Kvaratskhelia And Doué

The Paris Saint-Germain hierarchy is actively negotiating new deals with its key forwards:

  • Ousmane Dembélé → The French forward is in talks over a 2-year contract extension to commit his future to Paris Saint-Germain until June 2030.
  • Khvicha Kvaratskhelia → The Georgian winger is discussing a 2-year deal to stay until June 2031, which includes a significant pay rise.
  • Désiré Doué → The young attacking talent has received a proposal to extend his contract until June 2031 or June 2032.

How Luis Campos And Luis Enrique Are Building Long-Term Squad Stability

This latest move builds directly on the work completed on September 4, 2026, ahead of the clash against AS Monaco. On that day, Paris Saint-Germain had already announced new deals for Luis Enrique, Lucas Beraldo, Senny Mayulu, João Neves, Willian Pacho, and Fabian Ruiz.

By securing its key players, the club prepares for the visit of Le Mans in Ligue 1 on Saturday, October 10, 2026. That fixture comes just before the major European showdown against Manchester City.

Is Paris Saint-Germain right to lock down Vitinha and its key attacking players with very long contracts?
