‘I Miss Him’: Ferran Torres Urges Barcelona Star Pedri To Join PSG After Dream Start

Making an appearance on El Hormiguero on Antena 3 on September 21, 2026, Ferran Torres reflected on settling into life in Paris. Asked about his day-to-day routine away from Catalonia, the Spanish forward made an eye-catching confession. He admitted: "The only one I cannot bring with me is Pedri. I miss him a lot."

Delivered with a wide grin, the remark highlights the deep affection the new Paris Saint-Germain striker holds for his former teammate. Without hesitation, Ferran Torres confirmed that the Catalan midfielder would fit seamlessly into the Parisian squad.

Both players forged an exceptional partnership while wearing the colours of FC Barcelona. Beyond their chemistry on the pitch, Ferran Torres and Pedri share the same agency, a contractual detail that naturally streamlines behind-the-scenes discussions during every transfer window.

Prying such a prized asset away from the Catalan outfit remains a monumental task for Parisian chiefs, yet this close friendship keeps the door slightly ajar. Paris Saint-Germain now know they boast a first-class inside man within their own dressing room to spearhead any future charm offensive.

On the pitch, Ferran Torres is fully justifying the investment made for his transfer. The fee is estimated at €50 million plus €5 million in add-ons. Handed a start by Luis Enrique against Stade Rennais in place of Ousmane Dembélé, the Spaniard bagged an immediate brace. He already boasts 7 goals in 6 games across all competitions.

This sparkling form adds extra spice to the upcoming European showdown between Paris Saint-Germain and FC Barcelona in the Champions League. The continental clash will see Ferran Torres reunite with Pedri, while offering him the chance to showcase the strength of the Parisian project on the pitch.
