Khvicha Kvaratskhelia The Hero As PSG Edge Le Mans In Tight Ligue 1 Clash

The turning point arrived in the 62nd minute at the Parc des Princes. From outside the box, Fabian Ruiz unleashed a powerful drive. The goalkeeper could only parry the ball back into the danger area. Reacting on pure instinct, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia pounced on the loose ball to slot home from close range.

Footage shared across digital platforms by Ligue 1+ captures the sharp awareness of the Paris Saint-Germain forward. By reading the rebound to perfection, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia acted as a true penalty-box poacher. That clinical edge crushed the hopes of Le Mans (Saturday 10 October) FC just as an upset seemed to be brewing against the hosts.

That strike lifted the tension hanging over the Parc des Princes. Following the opener from Lucas Beraldo, Paris Saint-Germain failed to protect their lead and conceded a spirited equaliser to Le Mans FC. Up against a fearless promoted side, Luis Enrique‘s men repeatedly ran into a low block until the Georgian spark finally unlocked the game.

In the standings, this hard-fought win provides welcome breathing space for the Parisians. Sitting 6th in <a href= »https://www.ligue1.com »>Ligue 1</a> ahead of kick-off on Matchday 6, Paris Saint-Germain could not afford to drop more home points against the 9th-placed team in Ligue 1. Powered by this decisive intervention from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the Parisians wrap up crucial points before shifting focus to European duty with a demanding trip to face Manchester City.
